Delete Your 22-LIFE Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your 22-LIFE account and the data
associated with it. 22-LIFE is the community app built for U.S. military veterans and first responders.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the 22-LIFE app and sign in.
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
Your account and associated data are deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email
support@22-life.com
from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. To protect your account, we'll
verify your identity before deleting, and we'll complete the request within 30 days
(usually much sooner).
Delete only some of your data (without deleting your account)
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove your data. In the app you can delete your
own posts, photos, videos, comments, and messages individually at any time. To
request removal of other specific data, email
support@22-life.com
and we'll handle it within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile (name, username, email, and service/verification details)
- Your posts, photos, videos, and stories
- Your comments, likes, and poll responses
- Your direct messages
- Your followers/following connections and any partner or employer pages you own
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing that identifies you is retained after deletion. The removal is a permanent, hard delete — not a deactivation.
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot be linked back to you may remain (for example, counts of total app opens).
- Encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis and are fully removed within 30 days.
- We may retain limited records only where required to comply with the law.
